GRACE Protocol Launch Sequence

The Campaign

Launch GRACE spec v1.0 and Show HN on the same day. The spec provides the citable artifact; Show HN provides the initial attention spike. Design journal entries 1-3 publish in the week following.

Launch Day Deliverables

  1. GRACE spec v1.0 live at stratt.dev/spec/grace/v1.0 — permanent URL, versioned, citable
  2. Show HN post — lead with the problem (“silent contract drift”), not the product
  3. Design journal entry #1 — “Why I fingerprint prompts” (1,500 words, stratt.engineer)

Show HN Title Candidates

  • “Show HN: I built a cryptographically verifiable prompt library”
  • “Show HN: GRACE — typed contracts and Blake3 fingerprints for AI agent prompt units”
  • “Show HN: What if your prompt library had blast radius analysis?”
Winner criterion: novel terminology from adjacent domains. “Blast radius analysis for prompt libraries” borrows understood infrastructure language.

Success Metrics

  • Show HN: top 5 for 6+ hours, 100+ upvotes, 3+ “I would use this” comments
  • Spec: permanent URL indexed by Google within 48 hours
  • Journal: 500+ reads in first week

Post-Launch Week

  • Day 2: Bluesky + X thread (protocol-native register) — “what GRACE does differently”
  • Day 4: Reddit r/MachineLearning or r/LLMDevs — standalone technical post
  • Day 6: LinkedIn — enterprise-native framing (“when your AI agent makes a decision…”)
  • Day 7: Design journal entry #2 — “The five primitives and why there aren’t six”
